Happy Hump Day, G.O. Readers!
Sorry, I haven’t been putting out as much content. Work has been extremely busy lately, and I’ve had a bunch of extra stuff to do, for a quite a few evenings when I’ve gotten home. But I didn’t want to let too much time go by without posting something. So here I be…LOL.
I did receive my Bath and Body Works order today! Yay! Don’t worry, this isn’t going to be another Bath and Body post, (not right now, anyway). I just wanted to mention that I have enough stuff for three complete, “smell good” gift baskets, for some of my female family members or friends, (I still need to make one more purchase to have something for everyone). All I have to do is add a few more grooming items, such back scrubbers, loofahs, and bath poufs, to create some nice, full gift sets.
Speaking of gift sets, one of my upcoming topics is going to be, neat home-made gift ideas. I’m thinking I may do some parallel “Christmas in July” posts along with my other blog, “The Missy Show Blog”. Last year, I had a blog post every day in the month of July, for all my Animal Lover readers. The posts weren’t necessarily about Christmas, but they were extra special “gifts” for all my subscribers. I’m not totally sure if I’ll be committing to a post everyday, like last year, but we’ll still have more than usual, and some other special surprises. Those posts will get kicked off July 1st. I’m not going to totally jump on that bandwagon with this blog, but because I do like Christmas a lot, (it’s now my second favorite holiday after Thanksgiving), I will join in on some of The Missy Show, Christmas spirit. Later this month, (or maybe July 1st), I’ll be posting the QVC, Christmas in July schedule, and also the upcoming Hallmark Channel, Christmas movie schedule, (plus any other channel I can find, that’s participating).
Also with Summer coming upon us, you know we gotta talk more recipes–Fourth of July recipes in particular! So look for me posting on some potential 4th of July menu ideas; and don’t worry, my philosophical side has to return at some point. I just have to get still long enough to let that happen. So I just wanted to touch base with you all, and let you know I’m still here, and I have some good stuff coming up in the works.
