Here’s to one of the more controversial holidays–Halloween.  Coming up, we didn’t really celebrate it that much.  I didn’t even attempt to go trick-or-treating until I was around 13 or 14, and even then, it wasn’t really a thing until I was grown and started taking my oldest niece to the mall for candy, (and later letting her and her siblings do traditional trick-or-treating in neighborhoods).

Halloween isn’t my favorite of the “Big Three Holidays”, but I still enjoy dressing up, decorating, and re-watching all my favorite horror movies, (and it doesn’t hurt that it happens to fall in my favorite month of the year).  So, here’s to all things orange and black, the start of shorter days (before they put the start of standard time in November), scary movie marathons, fall scented candles, haunted hayrides, black nail polish, and listening to your favorite Halloween playlist. Here’s to seeing cute kids and babies dressed in adorable costumes, telling creepy stories, and of course, Pumpkin spice everything, in full effect.
