Greetings G.O. Readers!
I’m happy to report that I’m officially back from my August hiatus; and nothing could thrill me more than the fact, that it’s now September! Though September is not my favorite month of the year, it is the month that gives birth to my favorite season of the year–Fall! And September is the precursor to the month that is my favorite–October!
It’s really weird in some ways… Autumn is my favorite season, which begins in September; yet October is my favorite month, because it’s the month that most says, “Autumn” to me; and even though October is my favorite month, Halloween isn’t my favorite holiday–Thanksgiving is, (with Christmas following a close second). Strange, I know. But at any rate, September sets things off for me, as far as getting excited about the holiday season; and by the time October rolls in, I’m just over the moon!
This past weekend, I got to go out and purchase some Fall decorations. I got a new Autumn wreath for my door from Michael’s. They were having an awesome Labor Day Sale. They had 40% off their Fall decorations, and a coupon to take an additional 20% off any regular, or sales priced items; so needless to say, it was fabulous fun! Please continue to send prayers to the victims of Hurricane Harvey, and pray for those in Hurricane Irma’s path. I might be one of them…but let’s hope not.
