About Me

Girl October is the brainchild, of author, Jaslyn Jordyn.

The Girl October brand was created in celebration of my love and passion for planning, journaling, personal development, autumn, and the holidays.  As far back as I can remember, I’ve always enjoyed writing in blank notebooks about the events of my day.  It brings me great joy to be able to look back on where I was a year or several years ago, and see the progress I’ve made, and express gratitude for the hurdles I’ve overcome, (and it’s also fun to look back at the highlights and good times that unfolded over the years, as well).

I’ve also always enjoyed putting my plans for current and future events and my goals, down on paper.  I love having something meaningful and worthwhile to look forward to, whether it’s having a certain amount of money saved, being 10 pounds lighter, sticking to a healthier lifestyle, an upcoming vacation, or producing more content for my blogs.

Aside from planning and chronicling my life’s events, I strongly believe in the idea of everyone living “their most fully excellent lives” and showing up as the highest versions of themselves, across the board.  I believe we should run our own races, and not try to compete with anyone else.  This is where my love of personal development evolves from, (which is what I call my October Philosophy).  Read more about my October Philosophy Here.

When I’m not busy choosing and creating my dream life, I’m longing for fall and dreaming about making each year’s holiday season, more magical, cozy, and spectacular than the one before.

So, what happens when you combine my love for all these things?  They become a Motivational and Holiday Planner and Journal business, of course!
