I’m Prepared to Receive the Season Now

Posted on July 31, 2026July 31, 2026 by admin

Ā

I think I’m prepared to receive the season now.

Hopefully you are too.

And just like that, Christmas in July is coming to a close.

For the past month, we’ve been dreaming, reflecting, planning gently, romanticizing the season ahead, noticing what feels good, releasing what feels heavy, and giving our future selves little pieces of peace to find later.

We didn’t rush the holidays.

We didn’t skip summer.

We didn’t try to force December into July.

We simply opened the door.

And now, as this month ends, I want to ask one final question:

What season am I preparing to receive?

Not just what season is coming on the calendar.

But what kind of season am I choosing with my attention, my decisions, my boundaries, my softness, and my willingness to prepare before the pressure begins?

Ā

I’m Preparing to Receive a Softer Season

This year, I’m preparing to receive a softer season.

Not a perfect one.

Not a season where everything goes exactly as planned.

Not a season where nobody needs anything, nothing changes, and every little detail magically falls into place.

Just softer.

Softer in my body, myĀ schedule, andĀ my expectations.

Softer in the way I speak to myself.

Softer in the way I let enough be enough.

Softer in the way I stop turning beauty into pressure.

That’s the season I’m making room for.

Ā

I’m Preparing to Receive a More Intentional Season

I don’t want the fall and holiday season to sneak up on me and decide everything for me.

I want to enter it with a little more clarity.

A little more peace.

A little more awareness of what I actually want.

I want to know what traditions still feel like love.

I want to know what expectations I’m ready to release.

I want to know where my boundaries are.

I want to know what kind of memories I want to make.

I want to know what kind of woman I’m becoming before the season asks anything of me.

That doesn’t mean I need everything figured out.

It just means I’m not entering the next season completely disconnected from myself.

Ā

Ā

I’m Preparing to Receive Simple Magic

This month reminded me that magic doesn’t always have to be big.

Sometimes it’s a playlist.

A candle.

A cozy movie.

A quiet evening.

A handwritten list.

A small gift idea.

A clean little corner.

A warm drink.

A slow Sunday.

A tradition that still feels meaningful.

A boundary that gives me room to breathe.

A moment where I realize I’m actually present enough to enjoy my own life.

That’s the kind of magic I want more of.

Simple magic.

The kind that doesn’t require me to abandon myself to create it.

Ā

I’m Preparing to Receive the BER Months With More Peace

September.

October.

November.

December.

The BER months are on the horizon now.

And instead of letting them arrive with pressure, I want to meet them with intention.

In July, we started dreaming of the season.

In August, we prepare the foundation.

In September, we enter the cozy becoming.

In October, we sharpen our boundaries.

In November, we romanticize our lives.

In December, we receive the season we prepared for.

That is the rhythm I’m carrying with me.

Not as a rule.

Not as another thing to do perfectly.

Just as a gentle guide.

A reminder that the end of the year doesn’t have to be something I simply survive.

It can be something I receive.

Ā

I’m Taking the Softness With Me

So as Christmas in July ends, I’m taking the softness with me.

The future-you care.

The gentle lists.

The cozy dreams.

The permission to simplify.

The reminder that rest belongs in the plan.

The knowing that small things count.

The belief that I’m allowed to want a different season.

The decision that this year, peace gets to be part of the preparation.

I’m not leaving that behind in July.

I’m carrying it forward.

Into August.

Into the BER months.

Into the woman I’m still becoming.

Ā

Today’s Prompt

Complete this sentence:

The season I’m preparing to receive is…

Maybe it’s peaceful.

Maybe it’s cozy.

Maybe it’s abundant.

Maybe it’s simple.

Maybe it’s magical.

Maybe it’s boundaried.

Maybe it’s joyful.

Maybe it’s slower.

Maybe it’s softer.

Maybe it’s a season where you finally stop making yourself an afterthought.

Whatever comes up, let it be honest.

Then ask yourself:

What’s one small thing I can carry forward from this Christmas in July season?

Maybe it’s a list, aĀ boundary, orĀ a dream.

Maybe it’s a tradition orĀ a feeling.

Maybe it’s the simple truth that you’re allowed to prepare for peace before the pressure begins.

Let that be enough.

Because Christmas in July was never about doing everything early.

It was about opening the door to the season you actually want to receive.

And now that the door is open, we get to keep walking through it.

Softly.

Intentionally.

One cozy little step at a time.
